I have just been to a Parish Council meeting where speeding on the Chase Estate was discussed.

Should anyone have concerns over speeding, or witness someone driving at speed or irresponsibly, they should report it to 101 (Hamshire Police) immediately. Obviously a registration number of the vehicle involved should be noted and passed on to the authorities. When they call about speeding they should quote Incident Number:

If the offender is a persistant one a log should be kept of the time, the place, the make and Model of the vehicle and of course the registration number.

Should enough people keep a log and complain, it will force action from the Police. This may only be a warning initially but it will be a start towards reducing this problem.
